The calendar

One service, one team member, one slot.

Every appointment links a service to a team member. The calendar reads per person or for the whole salon. The public link /reserver/ goes on Google and Instagram; the client chooses, and the reminder goes out on its own.

  • Recurring appointments: “every N weeks”, set up once, editable from one appointment to the next.
  • Reminders by email or SMS, with verified consent.

Per team member

Sophie’s calendar, Ali’s, or the whole salon on one page.

Per service

Cut, colour, balayage, beard: duration, price, products consumed.

Public link

/reserver/, to paste wherever your clients look for you.

Reminders

Email or SMS before the appointment.

Technical products

The colour consumed, the margin known.

A colour is a tube, a developer and a treatment. The service consumes them from stock, at their last purchase price. The product cost comes out, so does the margin, and the supplier order is recalculated.

  • Retail stock follows the same logic: shampoo sold at the counter, on-hand and available stock, stock-out forecast.
  • Hidden by the server: purchase prices and margins are absent for anyone without the “see figures” capability.
Commissions and chair rental

Each their own formula, each their own statement.

A commission per person on their services and their retail sales, or a chair rental for the independent who occupies a station. The tip left on the terminal follows the person who served.

Commission per person

One rate per team member, calculated on what they brought in. They see it in their employee space; the others do not.

Chair rental

A station rented to an independent, with their own calendar inside the salon.

Tips

Left on the terminal or offered at the register, “served by” on every ticket, paid out directly or with payroll.

The client file

Their appointments, their purchases, their allergies behind a door.

One unified directory: counter, appointments, messages, purchases. Duplicates merge by phone or email. The health file, allergies and treatments, is protected by a dedicated capability, and every consultation is logged.

  • Law 25: customer requests, the person in charge, the policy and the incident log, in Settings.
  • Loyalty: points, tiers or a stamp card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, gift cards.

Unified directory

One file per person, whatever the channel they came in through.

Health file

“See health files” capability, never inferred from a section. Consultation logged.

At sign-up

Three apps turned on by default, the others whenever you want.

Choosing “hair salon” or “spa” turns on Bookings, Point of sale and Inventory. The rest is activated in one click, and the menu shows only the active apps.

Questions from salons

Do my clients have to create an account to book?

No. The public link /reserver/ offers the service, the team member and the time, with no account. The booking enters the calendar and the reminder goes out by email or SMS.

How is the margin on a service calculated?

Every service consumes technical products: colour, developer, treatment. Their product cost comes from the purchase price in stock, and the margin is calculated on the price of the service.

Commission or chair rental?

Both exist: a commission per person, or a chair rental for an independent who occupies a station. Other people’s rates stay behind the “see pay” capability.

Who can see a client’s allergies?

Only people who have the “see health files” capability, never inferred from a register or calendar role. Every consultation is logged, as Law 25 expects.

Does a salon in Québec need a MEV-WEB certified system?

No. The requirement covers restaurants with on-site dining and caterers. Salons and spas are not concerned. Z closes still go into a chained, tamper-proof ledger.
