Bookings

Appointments and tables, no customer account.

One engine. A service and a team member for the salon, guests and a time slot for the dining room. The customer books from a public link, the team sees its calendar, the reminders go out on their own.

Public link /reserver/your-nameA calendar per team memberReminders by email or SMSRecurring “every N weeks”

A link, not an app to install

The customer opens /reserver/your-name, picks, confirms. No account, no password.

The team’s calendar

Each person sees their appointments for the day; management sees everyone, services and reminders included.

Services

Duration, price, who performs it, technical products used up.

Tables

Guests and a time slot. The booking shows up in the point of sale’s table plan.

Salon and spa

The client comes back every six weeks.

A recurring series “every N weeks” books the next appointments in one go, with the same stylist. Each service uses up its technical products: the colour, the developer, the treatment. The material cost is deducted from stock and the margin reads per service.

  • Recurring series: one series, one rhythm, one person. The appointments are created ahead of time, the reminder goes out every time.
  • Technical products: used per service, deducted from inventory, with the material cost and the margin.
  • Commissions or chair rental: per person, your choice. The amounts stay hidden from anyone without the capability to see them.

Every 6 weeks

Cut + colour with Sophie, series open until further notice.

Material cost

Colour, developer and treatment deducted from stock at every visit.

Margin per service

Price minus materials, visible with the “see figures” capability.

Commission or chair

One setting per person: commission rate, or chair rental.

Restaurant and bistro

Table 6, four guests, 1:30 pm.

A booking takes guests and a time slot. On the night of service, it is already in the point of sale’s table plan: you open the table, serve, and bring the bill.

  • Table plan: open, transfer, merge, bill. “Served by” on every ticket.
  • On-site waitlist: one sign-up, one position, one call when the table frees up.
  • Ordering from the table: one QR code per table, the order lands in the point of sale with its number.
The rules

What the engine does, and what it does not.

Worth knowing before you open the public link.

Never a customer account

The public link asks for no password and no sign-up. The customer leaves a name and a phone number; the directory does the rest, duplicates merged.

Figures for the right people

Material costs, margins and commissions are masked on the server for anyone without the capability. Absent, not zero. A stylist sees their calendar, not the salon’s margin.

Not MEV-WEB yet

In Québec, on-site dining requires a MEV-WEB recognized system. Yoseri does not have that certification yet. Salons and spas are not covered by the requirement.

Questions about bookings

Does the customer need an account to book?

No. The public link /reserver/your-name opens without an account: the customer picks the service or the number of guests, the time, and leaves a name and a phone number. The customer record is created in the directory.

Do reminders go out on their own?

Yes, by email or by SMS. SMS goes through Twilio, costs $0.02 per segment, and the wording is set per use and per language in the settings. CASL consent is checked before every send.

Can I run a restaurant’s tables and a salon’s appointments in the same console?

Yes, it is the same engine. An appointment pairs a service with a team member; a table pairs guests with a time slot. The day’s calendar shows both, and the point of sale’s table plan picks up dining room bookings.

How does chair rental work?

For each team member, you choose a commission on their services or a chair rental. The amounts show only to people with the capability to see figures; stylists see their calendar, not the salon’s books.

Do bakeries get Bookings?

Not by default: at sign-up, bakeries, pastry shops and cafés open without this app, while salons and spas get it along with the point of sale and inventory. Any company can turn it on later from the settings.
