Terms of use.
The contract between your company and Yoseri, written to be read. Whatever limits your rights or ours is in bold, not in fine print.
Governing law: Québec, Canada · Courts of the district of Montréal
1 · What Yoseri Business is
Yoseri Business is a management console for shops, restaurants, tradespeople and service businesses: point of sale, online page, bookings, customers, sales, accounting, inventory and purchasing, production, marketing, human resources, scheduling and pay, reports, equipment, projects, support, and a portal for employees. It is published by Yoseri, Montréal (Québec).
By creating a company in the console, you accept these terms on behalf of that company and you declare that you have the authority to bind it. The company is the customer; the people it invites are its users.
2 · What Yoseri Business is not
Yoseri provides no accounting, tax, legal or investment advice. Tax returns, pre-payrolls, cost prices, margins and forecasts are calculations on your own data, whose method is shown. Their accuracy depends on what you enter, and filing them with an authority remains your decision and your responsibility, or your accountant’s.
The compliance limits, by country, stated plainly:
- Québec. Restaurants, bars and cafés with on-site dining, as well as caterers, must use a sales recording system certified for MEV-WEB. Yoseri does not have that certification yet. The register’s fiscal ledger is chained and tamper-proof, with Z closings and a signed archive, but it does not replace that obligation. Retail, salons and take-out bakeries are not covered by the requirement.
- France. A publisher’s self-attestation is possible. Electronic invoicing is mandatory since September 1, 2026, and Yoseri is not connected to any accredited platform.
- Spain. Verifactu comes into force in 2027; Yoseri does not meet it to date.
- United States. No state-by-state tax engine: rates are set by hand in the tax profiles.
- United Kingdom. No point-of-sale certification.
Yoseri neither sells nor rents any hardware. The terminals, printers and tablets you link remain under their manufacturer’s terms.
3 · Your company account and the access you grant
The account belongs to the company. The person who creates it is the owner; their rights cannot be removed by another user. The owner answers for the access they grant: roles, capabilities, exceptions per person, clock-in PINs, kiosk tablets activated by code. The server checks every sensitive action, but you decide who has which capability.
Each user answers for the accuracy of what they enter and for keeping their credentials safe. If you suspect unauthorized access, write to support@yoseri.com; we can suspend an access while we check, and we will let you know.
The company must be established in one of the countries offered at sign-up: Canada, the United States, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain or the United Kingdom. The country chosen sets the tax profile, the time zone, the language of documents and the labour rules; it is up to you to check that they match your situation.
4 · Trial, plans and billing
The trial lasts 30 days, with every app in the Yoseri Business plan, with no card. Loyalty is limited during the trial to 200 customers and one stamp card. At the end of the trial, you choose a plan; your data stays in every case.
- Discovery, free, with no card and no end date: one management user, three employees, one location, every app except pre-payroll, AI and WhatsApp.
- Yoseri Business: $49 per management user, $29 per team lead with limited access, $5.99 per employee active in the month; two locations included, then $29 each. Volume discount on the user share: −10% from 25 users, −20% from 75. The yearly subscription takes another 20% off that share, after the volume discount. Quota of 300 AI requests a month.
- Options, per month: Marketing emails $19 (10,000 sends, then $1 per 1,000), SMS $0.02 per segment, Loyalty $29 per location, Advanced AI $19, White label $19, Priority support $49, API $49; Guided setup $299, one time only.
Prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax; GST and QST, or the taxes of your country, are added. Plans are billed in advance. Apps are not sold one by one. A price change is announced 30 days in advance and applies only from the next renewal.
5 · Payments and commissions
Card payments go through Stripe Connect: a Stripe Standard account in your company’s name, linked in one click. The money from your sales lands in that account, not with Yoseri. Your relationship with Stripe is governed by Stripe’s terms.
Yoseri withholds a commission at the source, added to Stripe fees: on Yoseri Business, 0.2% at the register and 0.5% online on the first $50,000 of the month per channel, then 0.1% and 0.25% beyond, calculated marginally; on Discovery, 0.5% at the register and 1.5% online. Cash, gift cards and invoices settled offline carry no commission.
Square, Clover and Moneris terminals, Tap to Pay, SMS through Twilio and WhatsApp through Meta each fall under their provider’s terms. Yoseri passes on what the function requires and nothing more.
6 · Your data, and that of your customers and employees
Your data stays yours. You grant us only the licence needed to host, encrypt, compute, display and back it up in order to run the service, nothing more. It is not used to train any model. We do not sell, rent or hand it over to a third party, in any form, including aggregated.
Your company is responsible for the personal information of its customers and employees that it entrusts to the console, within the meaning of Law 25 and, where applicable, the GDPR. Yoseri processes it on your behalf, in accordance with the privacy policy. You answer for the consent required for your SMS and email sends; the console checks CASL consent and sends no marketing SMS between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m., but does not obtain it on your behalf.
You can export your data at any time: CSV, PDF or Excel from every report, accounting export, signed archive of the fiscal ledger.
7 · Availability
The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Incidents and maintenance are published on the Service status page, before resolution when possible. The availability of a terminal, a bank connection or a messaging channel depends on its provider.
8 · Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount your company has paid Yoseri over the preceding twelve months, commissions included, which is zero for a Discovery account that has taken no card payments. We are not liable for indirect losses, for tax penalties arising from inaccurate entries, or for a compliance gap that was written in section 2 before you signed up.
Nothing here sets aside the rights the law grants you and that cannot be waived by contract.
9 · End of the contract
No commitment. You can cancel at any time from the subscription billing screen, after exporting what you want to keep. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, with no pro-rated refund; the account then falls back to Discovery and your data stays, within the limits of that plan.
Closing the account leads to the deletion of the data, then its removal from backups within 30 days, except for what tax law requires to be kept. We may close an account in the event of fraudulent use or non-payment, after notifying you.
10 · Changes
A material change to these terms is announced 30 days in advance, by email to the owner and in the console. Continuing to use the service after that date counts as acceptance; otherwise, you close your account and the previous version continues to apply until then.
These terms are governed by the law applicable in Québec, and the courts of the district of Montréal have jurisdiction. A question? support@yoseri.com.
