Entered once, not three times.
A POS, a scheduling tool, an accounting tool, a loyalty tool and a spreadsheet to stitch it all together: that is the usual stack of a shop. Yoseri Business replaces it with one console where every number is entered once, by the person who produces it.
Four things a stack of tools cannot do.
Entered once, not three times
The counter sale deducts stock by recipe, drops the tip into the day’s pool and puts the tax on its line. Nobody re-enters a total in a spreadsheet at night.
A price per person, not per app
$49 per management user, $29 per team lead, $5.99 per active employee. All twenty apps in every plan. Free up to three employees.
Roles checked by the server
Nine sensitive actions are checked server-side, not on the screen. Whoever lacks the “see the numbers” capability gets a response without amounts, not zeros.
Québec taxes, line by line
GST/HST and QST collected by component, in the return following Revenu Québec forms. Quick method and small supplier included.
Separate tools stack or one console.
Working criteria, not promises. The only figures given are Yoseri’s.
| Separate tools stack | Yoseri Business | |
|---|---|---|
| Re-entry between the POS, the schedule and accounting | At every boundary between two tools | None: one piece of data, entered once |
| Tips from the register to payroll | export, then a separate calculation | Day’s pool split pro rata to clocked hours, paid with payroll |
| Stock deducted by recipe on every sale | ||
| Supplier order computed from sales and production | ||
| GST/HST and QST by component, Revenu Québec forms | to be rebuilt | |
| Roles and masked amounts | One account and one set of rights per tool | 13 roles, 9 capabilities checked by the server |
| Price | One subscription per tool | $49, $29 or $5.99 per person by role |
| Data export | One format per tool | CSV, PDF or Excel, from every report |
| Hardware | Depends on the tool | None sold or rented: your terminals and printers, linked from Settings |
The counter sale, and everything that follows.
The server recomputes every ticket; the screen never sends a total. That ticket then becomes a stock movement, a share of tips, a tax line and a report line, with no one stepping in.
- Stock moves: every ingredient of the recipe sold is deducted; the supplier order is recomputed from sales, production, quotes and stock.
- The tip is counted: left on the terminal or at the register, it joins the day’s pool, split pro rata to hours, in equal shares or by hand.
- The report goes out on its own: a period’s summary compared with the previous one, as PDF, CSV or Excel, sent by email.
What Yoseri does not do yet.
You will read it here before finding out in the console.
MEV-WEB
In Québec, restaurants with on-site dining and caterers must use a system certified for MEV-WEB. Yoseri does not have that certification yet. Retail, salons and take-out bakeries are not covered by the requirement.
Regulatory labels
Recipes carry their allergens according to Health Canada, the EU or the FDA, but printing regulatory labels is not done.
Nethris
The export to payroll is a generic CSV. There is no Nethris connector.
CSV import of recipes and employees
Not yet. Items and supplier invoices can be imported; recipes and employees are entered by hand.
Questions about switching tools
I am keeping my current POS. Is Yoseri still useful?
Yes. Accounting reads the sales of an external POS with taxes by component and tips by employee, and reports include them. The production suggestion, however, does not read those external sales by product.
Can I pay only for the apps I use?
No, and that is deliberate: every plan includes every app, you turn on the ones you need. The price depends on how many people and their role, not on how many apps.
What can be carried over from an existing stack of tools?
Items as CSV, supplier invoices as PDF, photo or CSV. Recipes and employees are entered in the console: their CSV import does not exist yet.
One console. Thirty days to measure it.
Every app during the trial, no card. Then free up to three employees, or a price per person.
