Getting started and trial
How do I create my company?
From the sign-up page. You get a brand-new, empty company; the country you choose sets the tax profile, the time zone, the language of documents and the labour rules. The “First steps” list ticks itself off as the data comes in.
What does the 30-day trial include?
Every app in the Yoseri Business plan, with no card. Loyalty is open during the trial, limited to 200 customers and one stamp card. Whatever you enter during the trial stays.
And when the trial ends?
You choose Yoseri Business, or Discovery, free with no time limit, if you fit within one management user, three employees and one location. Your data stays.
Can I import what I already have?
Items as CSV, and supplier invoices as PDF, photo or CSV, which create items and suppliers. CSV import of recipes and employees is not there yet.
Which countries and languages?
Canada (all 13 provinces and territories, Québec by default), the United States, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain and the United Kingdom. The console comes in French, English and Spanish.

How much does Yoseri Business cost?
$49 per management user, $29 per team lead with limited access, $5.99 per employee active in the month. Two locations included, then $29 each. Canadian dollars, before tax, no commitment.
What does Discovery, the free plan, include?
One management user, three employees, one location, every app except pre-payroll, AI and WhatsApp. No card and no time limit.
Is there a volume discount?
Yes, on the user share: −10% from 25 users, −20% from 75. Yearly billing takes another 20% off that share, after the volume discount.
Can I buy a single app?
No. Every plan includes every app; you turn on the ones you need, and the menu shows only those.
What are the options?
Marketing emails $19 (10,000 sends, then $1 per 1,000), SMS $0.02 per segment, Loyalty $29 per location, Advanced AI $19, White label $19, Priority support $49, API $49, Guided setup $299 one time. None is needed to sell.
What is the commission on payments?
On Yoseri Business: 0.2% at the register and 0.5% online on the first $50,000 of the month per channel, then 0.1% and 0.25% beyond, calculated marginally. On Discovery: 0.5% at the register and 1.5% online. These commissions are added to Stripe fees.
Point of sale, payments and hardware
Which payment terminals?
Stripe Terminal (Interac included), Square Terminal, Clover (Pay Display), Moneris Go (Cloud), and Tap to Pay, which turns a phone or tablet into a terminal with the native app. A simulator is there to train the team.
Do I have to buy hardware from you?
No. Yoseri neither sells nor rents any hardware. The console runs in a browser, on a computer, tablet or phone.
Which receipt printers?
Epson ePOS-Print, Star WebPRNT, ESC/POS over USB or system printing, driven by the browser with nothing to install. The cash drawer opens through the printer.
Where does the money go?
To your Stripe Connect account, linked in one click without copying a secret key. It receives the register, the online page and invoices payable by link.
How do I scan a barcode?
With the camera for receiving, with lot and best-before date. A handheld scanner reads a customer’s loyalty card.
What is the Z closing worth?
Every Z enters a fiscal ledger chained with SHA-256, verifiable with a public key, archived and signed every month and every year. Nothing gets rewritten.
Team, roles and pay
Which roles are ready?
The owner, whose rights can never be removed, then 13 ready-made roles, from manager to read-only, by way of cashier, accountant, buyer or head of production. Custom roles, exceptions per person, a manager limited to their shops.
Who can see the numbers or the salaries?
Only the people who have the capability. Nine sensitive actions are checked by the server, including seeing the numbers, seeing salaries, running the register, correcting stock and approving other people’s requests, never your own. Masked amounts are absent from the response, not set to zero.
How are tips split?
The pool from the register and from outside it is split pro rata to clocked hours, in equal shares or by hand, with exclusions. Tips are paid out directly or with payroll.
How does payroll work?
Yoseri prepares the pre-payroll and an estimated net, then exports a generic CSV to your payroll software. There is no Nethris connector: it is that generic CSV.
Do employees get their own access?
Yes, Yoseri Team (staff.yoseri.com): schedule, pay slips, tips, documents, daily lists, shift swaps, leave. Clock-in happens on a tablet with a PIN, locked for 30 seconds after five failed attempts.
Taxes, compliance and data
How is the tax return prepared?
GST/HST and QST line by line following Revenu Québec forms, quick method and small supplier included. Tax profiles are set per shop and per component.
Is Yoseri MEV-WEB compliant?
Not yet. In Québec, restaurants with on-site dining and caterers must use a system certified for MEV-WEB, and Yoseri does not have that certification yet. Retail, salons and take-out bakeries are not covered by the requirement.
And outside Québec?
France: electronic invoicing is mandatory since September 1, 2026, and Yoseri is not connected to any accredited platform. Spain: Verifactu in 2027. United States: no state-by-state tax engine. United Kingdom: no point-of-sale certification.
Where is my data hosted?
In Canada. It is partitioned per company from the database session onward. You export it at any time as CSV, PDF or Excel.
What about Law 25, the GDPR and health files?
Dedicated screens in Settings: customer requests, officer, policy, incident register. A customer’s health file is protected by a dedicated capability and every view is logged.
Demo and support
How do I try it without creating an account?
Open the demo: fictional businesses at their real size, your own copy for 24 hours. What you add there is kept if you create your company afterwards.
Can I see what an employee sees?
Yes. In the demo, “view the console as” owner, manager or employee shows the screens and amounts each role gets.
How do I reach support?
